As the completion of the LINX building approached, PIDC was engaged by Bolyston Properties to construct all lab ready infrastructure to support the conversion of 110,000 sf of rental space to lab.office use at Arsenal Yards. This included to large equipment wells cut into the rear of the building to support lab ready equipment including cooling towers, make up air handling units and exhaust fans. In addition, a new boiler plant and chilled water plant were constructed, along with interior lobbies, toilet cores, and passenger elevators. Concurrently, PIDC completed a fit out of 60,000sf for repeat client SQZ Biotechnologies, as well as 10,000sf for Arkuda Therapeutics.
