Kris Salamon
Vice President
Director, Life Sciences

Hired as Project Manager in 2004, Kris quickly progressed to his current position. As Senior Project Manager and Project Executive, his responsibilities include managing multiple projects for a select list of PIDC’s key clients.

With 20+ years in the construction industry, including both field and office experience, Kris consistently brings cost-effective, real world solutions to the table. Concentrating on life sciences and advanced technologies, his resume includes labs, vivariums, cleanrooms, cGMP, manufacturing, infrastructure upgrades and associated first-class offices.

Kris plays a vital part in all aspects of project development. During pre-construction, he develops initial cost models and schedules, reviews early design documents for constructability, and regularly offers design assistance — particularly in adaptive reuse situations.

In subsequent stages of development, Kris handles procurement, equipment expediting and implementation: working with the client and end-users to confirm the design/construction is achieving the desired end result. Our clients value his innate sense of urgency and commitment — his keen eye for on-time, below-budget cost control — and the detailed turnover documents provided by Kris and his team.

A graduate of the University of Maine with a degree in Construction Management Technology, Kris has also obtained a Construction Supervisor License and completed OSHA 30-hour training.

Kris resides in Taunton, MA with his wife, Kim and daughters, Mollie and Madeline — volunteering as much as possible at the children’s schools. In his personal time, he can be found fishing the numerous bodies of water around town, as well as fresh-water wade fishing on the Cape.
