PIDC reached substantial completion on the conversation of 65 Grove Street in Watertown, MA to support lab tenant occupancy. Owned by BioMed Realty, the existing 120,000 sf facility was modified to include a new penthouse, roof top units, lab exhaust, stand-by generator, fright elevator, electrical service upgrade, and multiple house lab support systems in order to support new lab usage. PIDC concurrently completed the build out of lab/office spaces for five new tenants while working within the occupied building. Tenant fit outs included Selecta Bioscience (25,000 sf), Platelet Biogenesis (17,300 sf), Apellis Pharmaceuticals (9,700 sf), and two additional spec suites totaling over 10,000 sf.
