Multiple Infrastructure Upgrades
Our multiple-project performance across the Biogen campuses has been marked by successful schedule compression, and adherence to extreme/minimized shutdown windows for numerous engineering-intensive capital projects. Projects completed on a construction management basis with guaranteed maximum pricing include:
Building 5 cGMP Warehouse. Transforming the existing cGMP sampling room into a state-of-the-art 100K, 10K and 100 cleanroom with upgraded HVAC system within two weeks. Other Building 5 projects include LN2 tank and piping upgrades and testing, packaging and shipping upgrades.
Buildings 6, 7 & 8 Cooling Tower Replacement. Demolition, removal and replacement of existing towers with two-cell and three-cell units.
Building 6A Absorption Chiller / Cogeneration. Design, fabrication, procurement and installation of a 600T absorption chiller to complement an existing 1,350T system — to lower shoulder season loads and supplement the main unit during peak demand. Also, electrical upgrades to support a future 2mW Cogeneration upgrade.
